HELP!!!!!! 31/7/08
To cut a long story short. I rescued a 1yr Clydesdale gelding from the live
export market.
My problem is that he will not allow anyone near him or to even
try to touch him.
I can stand near his feed trough and he will eat a carrot out
of my hand, but if you move.
He runs away.He is visualy impaired in 1 eye,
completey unbroken.I would like to know if anyone has any ideas how I could at
least get hiom halter broken to allow the Vet to examine his eye and farrier to
attend to his feet.
Plans??? 23/7/08
Does anyone have ideas/plans for horse drawn useful farm items like a
small seeder or manure spreader that doesn't cost the earth or plans for a
forecart? Cheers Pat
Anyone know about Feather lice....
I have an 16yrs gelding, that has big problems with lices in both back feathers
and up leg. my vet and i have tried everything and have come to the stage of
giveing an injection to try and kill the eggs befor they chatch. I was wondering
if you knew of anything else that may be a help of getting rid of these little
buggers, also if yourself have had trouble with them.thanks Helen and Jake (
four white fearthers)
Thank you everyone for all ideas,
I sugessted maybe..
I haven't had any trouble myself, only with the
kids.
I thing that might work that we do with the kids is
absolutely smother in thick (cheapish) hair conditioner, then wrap with glad
wrap. This suffocates them
Any one else???
Thank you in advance for your help
it is much appreciated :)
